Johnny Stingray - CEO

Johnny Stingray is an artist, designer, guitar player and motorcycle rider whose illustration career began working alongside Roland Rat at TVAM, credited as “The only rat to join a sinking ship”, followed by Count Duckula, “the world’s first vegetarian vampire duck”, for Cosgrove Hall/Thames Television.

He has illustrated loads of children’s books – published in many languages all over the world – and designed and illustrated album covers for bands such as The Urban Voodoo Machine (with whom he also survived a year on the road as Guitar Tech), Los Plantronics, Long John Laundry, John E Vistic Rock ‘n’ roll Sound System, Black Devil Byrds etc.

He is the CEO of The Bad Idea Factory.
